Knitting & Crochet for Beginners Class with Yarn Over Coffee - Friday sessions

This regular session has been running in store since 2016!

Hosted by Petra from the brilliant Yarn Over Coffee it's a gentle introduction to art of knitting and crochet.

Ideal for beginners and improvers, Petra is on hand to share her expertise and extensive knowledge to get you started or help you with a current project:

"Simply pop along to have a go and see if it is for you. You can work at your own pace, no need to wait or keep up with the others. All my workshops are very relaxed and friendly. I’m told that I’m very patient teacher. I will bring small pieces of crochet and knitting and show you some basic stitches which you will be able to practise. The first few crochet stitches are often the most difficult part. You will be given a piece that has already been started which will help to get you going. If you are brave enough you can start your own piece. We will not make anything in particular during this work shop. The aim is to have a go and see what it is about."

All practise materials will be provided and you can buy materials from the shop to take home (if required) after the workshop.

This session happens every 2nd and 4th FRIDAY of each month* (choose your date) at The Home Crafters shop in Yate Shopping Centre, BS37 4AX
(*not including School Holidays)

the 90 minute session starts at 10am - feel free to drop in and pay on the day or book your place in advance here on the website, choosing the date of the session you wish to attend.
