  • Natural Texture: Their organic composition mimics real-world rubble and rocks, making them perfect for natural or weathered effects.
  • Customizable: Mix with glue, paint, or varnish to create unique finishes, from desert sands to rocky outcrops.
  • Easy to Apply: Lightweight and pliable material that adheres effortlessly to any surface using standard adhesives.
  • Durable and Stable: Once applied and sealed, miniature bases done with it will be sturdy enough to withstand handling and gameplay.

Applications:

They are incredibly versatile and suitable for a wide variety of hobby projects. Some popular uses include:

1. Miniature Bases: they can transform plain, flat miniature bases into dynamic scenes. Apply them as rocky foundations, scattered rubble, or uneven terrain to break up monotony and add depth to your painted figures.

2. Dioramas and Scenery: Diorama builders can quickly and effectively replicate natural landscapes using these materials. From rocky deserts to mountainous terrain, they blend seamlessly into any setting.

3. Railway Modelling: Depending on the grits and the scales they can be used as railway ballast or to create realistic gravel around train tracks, adding detail and authenticity to your layouts.

4. Battlefields and Wargames: Bring your wargaming battlefields to life by scattering stones across your terrain. They’re ideal for creating crumbled ruins, destroyed structures, or weathered roads.

How to Use Cork Basing Rocks

  1. Prepare Your Surface: Clean and prime the surface where you’ll apply the material.
  2. Apply Glue: Use PVA glue or a suitable adhesive to affix the small parts to the surface.
  3. Customize the Texture: Mix it with glue, paint, or varnish to achieve your desired texture and colour.
  4. Paint and Seal: Once the glue dries, paint it to match your project’s theme. Apply a clear varnish for added durability.
  5. For smaller details, Battlefield Rocks work well as complementary elements, offering finer textures and enhancing the overall appearance of larger bases.

Add them to your creative arsenal and watch as your miniatures, dioramas, and battlefields come to life with stunning texture and detail.
