These Artis Opus texture palettes are designed to fit neatly in your series D set, and offer a perfect, travel friendly and compact testing platform for your drybrushing, before you take it to your model. They're also the ideal place to clean your brushes.
Prime and you're ready to mix on it, test colour schemes, test your drybrushing results before taking your brush to miniature, and also clean series D on it, gently using it like a washboard.
Use/FAQs/'Should I prime it?'
Prime it (we'd recommend a few coats of chaos black) and you're ready to mix on it, test colour schemes, test your drybrushing results before taking your brush to miniature, and also clean series D on it, gently using it like a washboard.
Priming:
Priming your palette with a satin-ish primer like chaos black will help it retard rather than absorb paint, allowing it to stay workable for longer
Cleaning:
Simply wipe off any dust before use with a damp cloth (not one that'll leave fibres) and you're good to go. You can occasionally re-prime for a fresh start
