Pokemon TCG: 30th Celebration Figure Collection – Mewtwo | Buy Online from The Home Crafters

Pokémon Stock, Preorders & Release FAQs

PLEASE NOTE: Due to exceptionally high demand, we receive a very large number of enquiries about Pokémon stock, release dates and reservations. We are a small independent retailer and receive only limited quantities of these products. To keep access as fair as possible, the same purchasing rules apply to everyone. Please read the information below before contacting us. If an update is not shown on this page, it means we do not currently have any further confirmed information to share.

Latest Pokémon release update:

We’re pleased to confirm that pre-orders for our FIRST WAVE allocation will go live online at 10am on Saturday 5th September.

This first release will include a limited portion of the stock currently allocated to us.

...

Once the online pre-order allocation has sold out, the remainder of our FIRST WAVE stock will be reserved for in-store purchases, giving our lovely local customers the chance to buy on release day: Wednesday 16th September

Further waves are expected to follow, and these will be released separately as stock is confirmed and allocated to us.

...

Please note that stock is extremely limited and purchase limits of one per household across all waves will apply to help us share it as fairly as possible.

This means that if you purchase an item from the first wave, you will not be able to purchase the same item again from a later wave.

Orders found exceeding these limits may be cancelled and refunded.

---

Please use the status displayed on the product label (seen on the collection page) as the most current availability information.

Products cannot be purchased before the advertised date and time, and we cannot provide early access, private purchase links or advance orders.

If no purchasing date is displayed, it means we do not yet have confirmed information from our distributor.
Contacting us by email, telephone or social media or any other means will not provide additional information, an earlier date or a different purchasing opportunity.

Can I collect my online preorder from the shop?

Yes. Online preorder stock can be purchased using our free Click & Collect service.

Once your online order has been completed successfully, your products are secured and will be kept safely for you until you are able to visit the shop. You do not need to collect your order on release day.

Preorder collections cannot be fulfilled before the advertised release date. Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before visiting.

Click & Collect is a much calmer option for local customers who would prefer to avoid delivery charges and the release-day crowds.

Can you reserve a product for me?

No. Online stock must be purchased through our website when it becomes available.

We cannot process advance orders through email, telephone calls, Facebook, Instagram or other messages or social platforms.

Can I order by email, telephone or social media?

No. Online stock must be purchased through our website when it becomes available.

I have contacted you previously. Does that give me priority access?

No. Contacting us, receiving a reply or expressing an interest in a product does not create a reservation or provide priority access.

We appreciate every customer who gets in touch, but it would not be fair - or manageable - for us to offer individual access based on previous correspondence.

Do you have a waiting list?

No. Due to the number of customers interested in these releases, we cannot maintain an individual waiting list or contact customers personally when stock becomes available.

All availability will be announced publicly and released fairly through our website or shop.

Does signing up for a stock notification guarantee a product?

No. Stock notifications are automated alerts only. They do not reserve stock or guarantee that it will still be available when you visit the website.

With exceptionally popular releases, products may sell out very quickly after notifications are sent.

Why didn’t I receive a stock notification?

Automated emails can occasionally be delayed or filtered into spam, junk or promotions folders. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the delivery or timing of stock-notification emails.

We recommend also following our social media pages and checking this FAQ page for confirmed release information.

Why did the products sell out so quickly?

We receive a very small allocation compared with the number of customers waiting to purchase.

When many genuine customers visit the website at the same time, the available stock can sell out within minutes. Adding a product to your basket does not reserve it; an order is only secured once checkout has been completed successfully.

Can I buy more than one?

Purchases are strictly limited to ONE of each product per household across ALL WAVES.

You may purchase one of each different product where available, but you may not purchase multiples of the same product - even by placing separate orders during different allocation waves.

Duplicate orders or orders attempting to bypass the purchase limits may be cancelled and refunded.

Will there be stock available in the shop?

Where possible, we reserve a separate allocation for sale in our shop in Yate on the advertised release day.

In-store stock is available on a first-come, first-served basis. It cannot be reserved, transferred to an online order or secured by contacting us in advance.

What happens if I miss the online preorder?

Where we have reserved release-day stock, you will have another opportunity to purchase from our shop.

If both allocations have sold out, we will not have additional stock available unless our distributor offers us a further allocation.

Will you receive more stock?

We are part of the Pokémon retailer programme, which gives us access to allocations of at least some of the newest releases. However, this does not mean that we will receive every product or the full quantities we request.

In some cases, we may also be offered stock from later restock waves. These restocks are uncommon and generally only take place for major Pokémon releases or special events.

We will not know whether we are receiving additional stock until our distributor confirms it. If another allocation becomes available, we will update this page and announce how and when it will be released.

Contacting us cannot provide access to stock or information that has not yet been confirmed.

Why are some Pokémon products priced above RRP?

RRP means Recommended Retail Price - it is a suggested selling price rather than a fixed or mandatory price.

As a small independent retailer, we do not receive the same wholesale prices and purchasing discounts available to large national retailers. Larger businesses can often sell at or below RRP while still retaining a sustainable retail margin because they purchase in much greater volumes.

We apply our usual retail margin to the price we actually pay our distributor. Because our wholesale cost is higher, this can result in some limited Pokémon products being priced above RRP.

Our prices are clearly displayed before products go on sale, and we completely understand that some customers may choose to purchase elsewhere if they can find the product at a lower price. However, our limited-release prices are not negotiable and we are unable to offer individual discounts or price matching.

Will the in-store prices be the same as the online prices?

Yes. Pokémon products reserved for release-day sales in our shop will be sold at the same prices shown on our website.

In-store customers will not pay the £5 delivery charge, as this applies only to orders requiring postage.

The same purchase limits apply both online and in store. If you have already purchased a particular product through our website, you may not purchase another of the same product in the shop.

Is a product reserved when I add it to my basket?

No. Adding a product to your basket does not reserve the stock.

Your purchase is only secured once checkout and payment have been completed successfully and you have received an order confirmation.

During particularly busy releases, a product may sell out while it is still in your basket.

Can you combine separate orders and refund the additional delivery charges?

Due to the volume and speed of Pokémon releases, we cannot guarantee that separately placed orders can be combined.

Please purchase all the products you want in one transaction wherever possible. Delivery charges applied to separate orders will not be automatically refunded.

If we are able to combine orders when preparing them for dispatch, we may do so, but please do not contact us to request this.

When will payment be taken for my preorder?

Payment is taken in full when you complete checkout.

A product is not secured until the payment has completed successfully and an order confirmation has been issued.

Is my preorder guaranteed once I have paid?

We only make products available for preorder once we have received confirmation of our allocation.

However, all preorders remain subject to our distributor supplying the confirmed stock. On the rare occasion that an allocation is reduced, delayed indefinitely or cancelled, we will contact affected customers as soon as possible.

If we are unable to fulfil your order, you will receive a full refund.

Can I use a discount code or loyalty reward?

Any discount code or loyalty reward that is eligible for use with a Pokémon product will be accepted automatically during checkout.

If a code or reward is not accepted, the product is excluded from that particular promotion. We cannot apply discounts manually or retrospectively after an order has been placed.

Can you tell me exactly how many products you have available?

Our Pokémon allocations are extremely limited and quantities vary between products and release waves.

We may occasionally announce quantities publicly, but we cannot provide individual stock counts or additional allocation information by email, telephone or social media.

The availability shown on the product page is the most current information we can provide.

How do you stop bots from buying all your stock?

Our website uses dedicated purchase-limit controls and secure checkout validation. Customers must sign in before purchasing restricted Pokémon products, and purchases are limited to one of each product per customer across all allocation waves.

The system checks previous purchases and blocks orders that exceed the permitted limit before payment is completed. Orders attempting to bypass our one-per-household restrictions using different accounts or contact details may also be cancelled and refunded.

We reserve a separate allocation for sale in our shop, so the entire allocation cannot be purchased online.

However, we have not seen evidence that automated bots are buying our stock. We receive only a very small number of each product, while a large number of genuine customers are waiting. When many people visit the website at exactly the same time, limited stock can genuinely sell out within minutes.

in-store release day FAQs...

What time will the in-store stock become available?

In-store stock will be available when our Yate shop opens on the advertised release day.

We will not sell products before the published date or opening time, and no stock can be reserved in advance.

Please check the individual product status and our latest release update before travelling.

Do the purchase limits apply in store?

Yes. Purchases are strictly limited to ONE of each product per household across all online preorders, release waves and in-store sales.

If you have already purchased a particular product online, you cannot purchase another of the same product from the shop.

The limit applies per household, not per person. Bringing additional family members, friends or children does not increase your household’s allowance.

Is in-store stock available on a first-come, first-served basis?

Yes. Our in-store allocation is sold strictly on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last.

Arriving at the shop or joining a queue does not guarantee that your chosen product will still be available when you are served.

How will any queue be managed?

Please queue considerately without blocking neighbouring businesses, shop entrances or the main shopping-centre walkway.

Customers will be served in order when the shop opens. We ask everyone to treat fellow customers and our small team with patience and respect.

Aggressive behaviour, queue jumping or attempts to bypass our purchasing limits will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to refuse a sale.

Can I telephone or message the shop to check availability before travelling?

The product status shown on our website will provide the most current information available.

We may be unable to answer individual stock enquiries while serving customers, particularly on busy release mornings. Even if stock is available when you contact us, we cannot reserve it while you travel to the shop or guarantee that it will remain available.

Can I buy the in-store allocation stock online?

No. Stock specifically reserved for release-day sales in our shop will not be made available to purchase online or through Click & Collect.

If any in-store stock remains after the initial release period, we may choose to make it available online at a later date. Please do not contact us to request that stock is transferred online.

However, online preorder stock may be purchased using our free Click & Collect service.

What do I need to collect my online order?

Please wait until you receive confirmation that your order is ready before visiting the shop.

When collecting, please provide:

  • Your order number
  • The full name shown on the order
  • Your order confirmation or receipt, either on screen or as a printout

If somebody else is collecting on your behalf, they will also need to provide all of this information as proof of purchase.

Can somebody else collect my Click & Collect order?

Yes. Another person may collect an online order that has already been purchased and paid for once it is ready for collection.

They must be able to provide:

  • A printout or screenshot of the order confirmation or receipt
  • The order number
  • The full name shown on the order

They do not need to collect it on release day - we will keep the order safe until they are able to visit. However, it cannot be collected before the advertised release date or before confirmation has been sent that it is ready.

Can somebody purchase a product on my behalf?

Another person may purchase a product using their own household allowance, but this cannot be used to bypass our one-per-household purchase limits.

We cannot reserve stock for somebody arriving later or accept advance payment for another person to purchase an item. Any in-store purchase must be made in person while stock remains available.
