Hello my crafty friends,

Can you believe we’re already in September? One minute I was sunning myself under fairy lights at the summer workshops, the next I’ve got a pumpkin spice latte in one hand and a glue gun in the other 🍂🎃

This month feels like a fresh start — kids back to school, diaries filling up again, and a whole season of cosy, snuggly, autumn-inspired crafting ahead. Whether you’re quilting, painting minis, or finally sorting out that overflowing yarn stash (no judgement, promise 😉), it’s the perfect time to get inspired.

Seasonal yarn — cosy new shades just landed (think autumn brights and winter warmers, perfect for your next project!).

Warhammer Goodies — September releases are landing, so check in before the shelves get raided ⚔️.

Handmade Gifts — our shelves are brimming with unique creations from local makers, including handmade cards, crocheted spooky owls, hand-drawn artwork, beaded bracelets, and even a metalworked crab! Perfect for finding something special (and a little early Halloween magic).👀.

The summer holiday workshops were a real hit — so many youngsters got stuck in with crafts and Warhammer painting! Sophie is absolutely exhausted (the good kind of exhausted, with glitter still in her hair), and we just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and joined in. 💖

We're now rolling into autumn crafts: a few adult sessions are already lined up, and Sophie’s busy scribbling away at the half-term workshop schedule as we speak. Keep an eye out — spaces will go fast once they’re live!

Before you stash away those bright summer colours, snip a few offcuts or save a mini skein. Mix them into your autumn palette for surprising pops of colour. Think burnt orange with turquoise, or deep plum with neon yellow — delicious!

This month’s spotlight is on Denver — one of our youngest (and most determined!) crafters. At just 4 years old, Denver is already a regular at our kids’ craft workshops.

He’s meticulous and super focused on whatever he’s making… though we’re pretty sure he’s got a touch of Minecraft obsession in there too 😉. And of course, no session would be complete without the classic “concentration tongue” making an appearance!

We love seeing his creations come to life — it’s little makers like Denver who remind us what crafting is all about 💖

It’s simple, practical, and perfect whether you’re heading back to school, getting your home office in order, or just need to restock your craft drawer. Sometimes the little things really do make the biggest difference!

Our Warhammer Summer Scheme was such a smash hit that we’ve decided to keep it rolling for another month! ⚔️🎨

We’ve also heard whispers (okay, loud whispers) that Games Workshop will be raising prices from October. Sadly, that’s out of our hands… BUT we can help you get ahead.
