Summer Craft Hack: Confetti Poppers!
Got leftover paper scraps from a recent project? Don’t bin them — turn them into something fun! Wrap a loo roll tube in tissue paper, load with handmade confetti, and tie both ends with ribbon. Twist, pop, and boom — instant party magic!

This month’s featured maker is… Sophie! Surrounded by yarn all day, it was only a matter of time before she gave in — and crocheted this stunning sunflower cardigan 🌻. Warm, woolly, and full of summer vibes, it’s brought smiles to everyone in the shop!

This month’s pick is something truly epic: the Squidmar Miniatures STRAKH Dragon. This highly limited edition dragon is a showstopper — towering wingspan, coiled menace, and the kind of sculpt detail that makes hobbyists across the land weak at the knees. We’ve dubbed this the Summer of Fun — and here’s why:

• Our kids' craft workshops are running all summer long, with messy, magical, and memory-making activities to keep little ones entertained while parents enjoy a breather (or a browse!). It’s crafting chaos, in the best possible way.

• Exciting news! The fabulous Debanne Creations is bringing her creative magic to The Home Crafters with regular in-store classes! 
  Deb’s sessions cover a wide range of hands-on crafts — perfect for anyone looking to try something new or spark their creative side.
  Her first class kicks off Monday 7th July, and you'll be making your very own crystal tree!
  Her regular classes kick off in August!

• Warhammer Wednesdays (and Fridays… and Saturdays…) are back in full swing, with exciting Games Workshop releases continuing through the summer — as always, we’re doing our best to keep up with demand. If there’s a box you’re after, let us know — we’re happy to hold or pre-order where possible! One thing’s for sure… there are always more surprises on the way from the Mortal Realms!

• Expect brand new hobby ranges and accessories arriving soon, especially for terrain builders, paint hoarders, and those of you who've been eyeing up “that thing you’ve always wanted to try.”
